Aurora "Rory" Borealis comes from the southern part of Calventine Empire, it depends on who you talk to which Kingdom he's from, the borders are very fluid, especially if the business can be taxed. His parents run a tavern along the one of the main roads used to transport trade goods. On his eighteenth birthday his mother suggested that he put his artist talents to good use and travel the Calventine Empire and update the maps. Rory thought this a strange request
from his mother, but he didn't ask the real reason and set off to map the world. Maybe the First Chosen had some greater design for him, since some said he had been cursed from birth with the "dancing lights of the night", so he set off to map the world and to mark all of the taverns in the empire, maybe they would pay him to add their tavern to the map. (advertising was born)
