	group of warrior-monks. Under their care he quickly learned the language, as well as learned their arts of Judo, Karate and fighting with a staff. With the fear of his former master still strong, he hid his magical skills from the monks. After a few years, when the day came that he must decide to enter their order or be put out, he willingly left the temple tired of their quite lifestyle and wishing for an exciting life. After leaving the temple, Josef ended up enlisting in the local military where he learned the use of weapons and armor. He found he liked both the “off-duty” lifestyle of his comrades, drinking and carousing, and the sense of duty and honor he felt in helping his friends and comrades
