Valerie and Jack set up claymore mines at the entrances. Marcus places cameras that will transmit back to recorders at the dorm.
At 9:59am the "lockdown" order is issued. As the machine powers up and the 'wormhole' forms, Father Martin feels a foreboding of demonic filth; Vicente senses a shift and a spike in mana; Valerie hears a clamor of growling, hungry voices. Jack notices several of the guards and civilians begin to fidget. Suddenly the wormhole grows quickly from a few inches in diameter to four feet, and as something starts to move through the tunnel Valerie screams, "Curtis! Shut it down!"
Emerging from the wormhole is a hunched demon, saber-toothed, with red skin and long black claws. Immediately Father Martin fires his shotgun and Jack his AR15 and the demon dies, but behind it more demons emerge.
