One Way In... No Way Out!

Help the less fortunate...

Kev called Weezuachew a little after noon on 12/17 and said he need someone that could hack into a computer that the Black Amulet owned to find out what they were up to. Believing that his race was only given selective information, agreed to help release this information.

After bouncing around to several "pop in " points, we landed in NYC and the only know transport point into the timeline that "E" hadn't had any info on for several decades. It was reported that the world had no naturally occurring mana,psi or meta.

After getting a NYC Hot Dog , we found a room that was the transport place to the earth like timeline. Arriving in Chic-a-go, at least that's were Reg thought we were. We were meet by a rude Taxi driver, whom had a Black Amulet powered car or at least had to deposit one in the steering wheel to make the car go. We arrived at the Tri -level / Tri-Lateral building (amulet translation problem) insurance building, they had the good kind of candy in the candy dish. We were put into a conference room and asked a whole bunch of stilly questions by an expendable man. Kev convinced him that the people with him and Steve (pretending to be the BA guys), that we came along to get rid of Kev, Thaemon and Rathbone, because of other reasons.......

Thaemon was there to find himself because of the embarrassment he had caused the Elders, funny I don't remember Thaemon in that John Wayne movie. SLY was there to hunt down and kill Kev, most people wouldn't blame SLY, some may even help. I hope Kev opens the Christmas present before SLY gets him. (I don't think I kept the receipt) And myself and Reg were after Rathbone, I think we were bounty hunters to the highest bidder. $12,234,567.27 (5/12's up front in casino chips and lunch money). This Mr. Expendable accepted our stories (to get us out of his hair and let someone else deal with us)

They sent us out to eat at a Fancy Steak Place, they didn't have Spam and don't ask for Ketchup. We were loaded on a private jet and flew for quite awhile, we didn't even get one bag of peanuts. They stuck us in a "research" facility several meters underground. The food was OK, but their computer games were not very interesting. We spent the night in a guest level. Around 2 am there was a short period of time that a mana surge was noticed by the magically inclined (they were sleeping). And then 30-40 minutes later I felt several people below us that were in pain, it lasted around 10 seconds. The lights were also affected.

After that, I went to the couch in the common area and looked around in their computer system, fixed a few flaws in the system, the didn't have an emergency access code for the guests, now they do. Also the Power Company now has the correct mailing address, they are using a lot of power and I wouldn't want their bill to get lost in the mail. They also didn't have an off site (world) backup for the computer and test data, now they do. Also they had incorrect data on Kev and Steve, downloaded the correct information. (I didn't know Kev had a scar down there)

Went to take our tests at 9:00 a.m., the interviewer I had was not very well prepared, it took him forever to answer my questions. and he kept asking me the same questions over and over. Around 11 a.m. we all passed (except for my interviewer I had to fail him) and were sent to a room to start making the plans to capture/kill Kev, Thaemon and Rathbone. After a bunch of babble and arguing we left for Chic-a-go, after all that I don't think I will kill Rathbone and I am not returning the 27 cents either. We finally got back to Hawaii alive and before Christmas, I better go exchange some of the gifts I gave out.... We helped the less fortunate... we left.
