Hawaii:Wizard's Inn

The Wizard's Inn is a rustic inn about 10 miles north of the Moana Loa Hilton. Many mages and clerics prefer this place for its higher level of solitude.

The Wizard’s Inn was originally designed and built by a mage known only as Lyman. Lyman went wandering off not very long afterward, leaving Jarret as proprietor and caretaker, a trust he has carried out faithfully for many years.

On a pedestal near the front door of the Inn stands an eternal flame, in memory of Silas Obearth.

There are a couple of laboratories available for use by wizards involved in research and experimentation. Jarret usually has some potions brewing in the chem lab. All lab walls are heavily reinforced, and the high-security lab (which has a floor inscribed with a permanent pentagram) has sealable blast doors.

To get to the Wizard’s Inn by automobile, go north from the Moana Loa. Take the turn-off marked “Wizard’s Inn -- The Forge”. For the last 1 1/2 miles in, the 'road' is little more than a trail. At The Forge take the elevator up the cliff to the Inn. It’s suggested that you phone ahead and make sure that you’re welcome; some of the mages are very protective of their privacy.
