At the warehouse, Father Martin blesses a quantity of bullets. Valerie prepares some of the C4 she had collected from the stadium.

Jack (at a hotel watching Arthur Everett and Bert Case): "Everett says Kimmler's here." Everett, horrified, tells Jack, "He brushed my mind... please, knock me out!"

Golden admits that Kimmler has touched his mind before, but not recently. Distance is a limiting factor, though he's gotten stronger since last October. Marcus: "If you sense him, tell us or your brains will be on the floor."

Marcus tells Jack, "They say Kimmler survived machine gun attacks." Jack: "Does he bleed, though?" Marcus: "I hope so."

Around 4:30, Vicente and Marcus drive to the hotel to take Everett and Case to the warehouse. Just as their elevator is closing, Jack glimpses a suspicious-looking desk clerk exiting a different elevator, and guesses he is headed to their room.

Valerie informs Golden that Kimmler is looking for him. The battery in Golden's cellphone had been removed, and Kimmler is no doubt furious that Golden has not returned his calls and is frantically searching for him. Valerie obliquely explains to Golden that the movie will go much better if cooperates against Kimmler, "but my crew doesn't trust you." Golden will have to contact Kimmler soon and try to allay his suspicions.

Marcus spars with Pete, throwing a punch to his chest that Pete deflects.

Father Martin prays for guidance and strength "to bring light to this city." He receives the message, "The conclusion is tonight."

Fr Martin hands out bottles of holy water to the other members of the team. Valerie immediately drinks half of hers.

6:00pm - In his suite at the stadium, Golden phones Kimmler, who is coldly angry. "A little delayed, is it not? ... The explosives have been removed. Explain." Golden: "There were impersonators... we'll have to improvise." Kimmler: "We knew there'd be opposition... I should be there shortly."

Jack, who is setting up his post among the catwalks, spots a tall man in a navy blue suit walking rapidly toward the suite. Marcus refuses the man entry, saying "Band only."

Jack watches another sniper setting up in the catwalks to target the stage, then locates the sniper's spotter, a woman sitting among the concert attendees, Bluetooth earpiece in place, scanning the stage area through binoculars. He also sees at least 60 trained goons from Daybringer Security.

Golden, along with Riva (Valerie), Jamal (Vicente), and Weston (Fr Martin) head backstage. Golden answers a call from Kimmler, who says, "I'm sorry, I was delayed. You're good -- I don't know what game you're playing," and hangs up abruptly.

Marcus has gone outside to one of two helicopters located on either side of the stadium. The helo is occupied only by the pilot, who is wearing headphones and seems less than alert. Carefully positioning himself so he is unnoticed by passersby, Marcus pulls out a large knife, opens the passenger door, lunges at the pilot, and crushes and then slits his throat. Marcus pulls off the pilot's jacket and slips it on. A Daybringer man who had been leaning against the front of the helo brings a hand up to his earbud, then heads quickly toward the stadium.

A box on the co-pilot's seat had broken open; it contains what look like Indian medicine pouches. Marcus opens one of the bags, which contains herbs and spices. Suddenly he is almost overcome with nausea, while at the same time a memory flashes through his mind of how he once was almost killed. Jack suggests he pack all the pouches into an airsickness bag and seal it. Marcus disables the helo's constrols, then heads for the other helo. Valerie uses the app Rick created to start closing the stadium's dome.

Golden: "Kimmler has the habit of appearing unexpectedly. He likes theatrics, enjoys making the grand entrance." Fr Martin: "Let's take a walk."

Valerie decides to grab the audience's attention and try to stop them from panicking during the imminent firefight and keep them from being exploited by Kimmler. As "Riva" she takes the stage alone, shouting "Good evening, Gateway!" The crowd erupts with cheers; the stage goes dark except for a single spotlight on Valerie, who starts belting out the Soulless Triad's viral hit, Fame.

Jack sees the sniper speaking into his headset. The woman with the binoculars scans the stage rapidly.

Many ghosts try to distract Fr Martin and Vicente. Their 'arrows of evil' impinge upon the priest's True Faith, but Fr Martin touches his crucifix and the arrows are rendered harmless.

Marcus, who has reached the second helicopter, hears a radio transmission: "Something's gone wrong. Take the helo into the air." Marcus hangs on to the struts as the rotors spin up.

Fr Martin, Vicente, and Golden enter the suite. Pete says, "It's been quiet here." Vicente warns that fourteen ghosts are approaching; Fr Martin responds, "Let's greet them." One of the ghosts says, "Do you intend to continue this charade?" Fr Martin drops his illusion and brandishes his cross; in unison, the ghosts step back.

As Valerie nears the end of her second song, Jack sees the sniper aiming at her. Jack fires his AR15; the sniper releases his rifle and clutches his chest, bleeding profusely.

Radiant with True Faith, Fr Martin commands the ghosts, "Burn in Light!" One of Wolf's lieutenants flees the stadium; the rest of the ghosts either curl up or stare into the distance. Fr Martin: "Let's ping some more ghosts."

Marcus manages to get inside the helicopter. The pilot looks back at him and says "Hello." Marcus, who is sitting on another box of medicine pouches, asks him what they're for. The pilot calls them "fear inducers." Marcus orders the pilot to land the helo, but the pilot takes the craft upward instead. Marcus: "Last chance -- land." Releasing the controls, the pilot goes for his gun. Marcus fires three times but the pilot is wearing a protective vest. As the pilot starts to take aim, Marcus fires three more shots and the pilot collapses. Marcus shoves him out of the helo, then climbs into the pilot's seat and takes the controls. He experiences a brief 'brain freeze' but then calls out over the headsets, "Guys, I got a helicopter!"

Jack sees the spotter glance upward into the catwalks, start, and leap to her feet. Jack takes aim at her as she pushes her way toward the aisle, using other concertgoers as cover, speaking rapidly into her mic. Soon Jack sees a number of 'suits' and Daybringer guards moving toward the stage.

Marcus dumps the pouches into a trash barrel. Denied readmission to the stadium, he trades $1000 to a scalper for a ticket.

Radiant with his True Faith, Fr Martin shouts, "Heinrich! Come face your retribution! I know you fear me, Heinrich!" Observing the suits that start to surround him, the priest turns and greets them, "Hello, brothers!" One of them steps forward and growls, "You are notorious for causing many incidents, to our leader's inconvenience." Father Martin responds, "I only bring the Light, my son. Do you wish to repent?" The thug doesn't answer, so Fr Martin takes a step toward him and strikes him in the face with the butt of his shotgun. As the thug screams in pain, Fr Martin repeats, "Do you wish to repent? Or must I beat the sin out of you? Where is Heinrich?" Finally getting his voice back, the thug hisses, "He'll be here momentarily, and we're going to kill you." "Sorry, my son. The Lord does not will me to die." Addressing all the goons, he continues, "You can choose to repent, or you can burn in righteous fire!"

In an aside to Valerie, who has been stirring up the crowd, Fr Martin warns, "Kimmler wants them worked up." Valerie takes a new tack, singing words of peace in a low, calming voice. She turns and strolls toward stage left; she raises her fists over her head and lit sparklers appear between her fingers. Many in the crowd copy her raised-fist gesture.

A third of the thugs onstage are so shaken by Fr Martin's warning that they lay down their firearms and walk away. About the same number shuffle their feet and glance around nervously. A hundred ghosts, led by one of Wolf's lieutenants, move onto the stage and stand among the thugs.

Looking outward, Father Martin says, "Ah, your dark master is arriving." ("Finally," mutters one of the suits.) Some 275 feet away and many feet in the air, a tall man in flowing black robes seems to solidify out of a swirling cloud of black mist. Kimmler's face is pale and deeply lined, but his hands are smooth. Eerie music accompanies him as he floats slowly toward Father Martin.

Jack takes a shot at Kimmer. He is right on target, but the round passes clean through Kimmler's chest with almost no effect. To Jack, it appears as though Kimmler's body turned to smoke along the bullet's passage. Jack gathers his things and starts making his way to where he can descend from the catwalks.

Over the headsets, Rick warns that the concert is being broadcast live. Father Martin says, "Kill it."

Jack suddenly shivers all over, death cries echoing in his head. The holy water he had drunk earlier protects him, and he keeps running.

Father Martin calls out to the "spirits and souls unseen" to repent. "I offer you a chance to leave this broken existence."

On cue from Valerie, the sprinkler system goes off, spraying holy water into the air. The water is seen to cascade off of an invisible sphere surrounding Kimmler.

Marcus dashes to where he'd left his gun and grabs it as three Daybringer guards turn and rush at him, guns out.

His words apparently addressed to Jack, Kimmler says, "You killed Dark. I'm impressed."

Father Martin boldly locks eyes with Kimmler. "Are you afraid, Heinrich?"

Kimmler observes, "A unified crowd is most potent." Quite near the stage now, he takes a deep breath and intones, "Go."

Jack slashes at Kimmler, but the robes seem to tangle around the blade. Father Martin extends his cross toward Kimmler. Vincente concentrates and black mist obscures the combat scene. (Jack: "What was that?" Vincente: "They can't see.") Valerie moves further to the left, keeping the crowd's attention riveted on her.

Fr Martin fires his shotgun at Kimmler's hand; the slug passes through smoke, but as the hand rematerializes there's a visible scar and some blood. "Look, Heinrich," he calls. Some of the suits and guards raise their weapons -- some at Jack and Vincente, others toward the crowd. Marcus opens fire, strafing two suits and two guards; a suit and a guard drop. Jack moves in, grapples Kimmler, and stabs repeatedly with his blessed knife. Kimmler screams and, falling away from the stage, shoves Jack away; Jack flips in midair and lands on his feet facing Kimmler. Several goons fire at Fr Marcus and miss, but one of their stray shots hits Jack. Vincente kills one of the shooters. Valerie kneels gracefully and speaks words of calm and protection as she motions for the crowd to crouch down.

Marcus continues strafing, hitting four more goons and killing one of them. Through the mists Vincente growls at the goons, "Run for your lives!" Three-fourths of those still upright run away, leaving six Daybringer guards holding their ground. Fr Martin shoots Kimmler through the head; again Kimmler's flesh phases briefly into smoke, but when it reforms there is a bloody wound. Jack tries to grapple Kimmler again, but due to his disorientation ends up wrapping himself around a post. Guards fire at the sound of Vincente's voice but nothing hits him (and he has Missile Shield). Kimmler screams "Wolf!" and makes a backhand motion at Fr Martin, who is knocked backward two hards, heavily bruised. Father Martin laughs loudly at Kimmler, calling out, "You're weak!" More bullets zip past the priest.

Marcus, shooting wildly, rushes toward the six guards. Jack reorients himself, fast-draws his pistol, and kills the guard aiming at him. Fr Martin leaps off the stage, landing right next to Kimmler; "You're afraid!" Kimmler turns, runs up into the air six feet, pivots back toward his opponents, raises his hands, and locks eyes with Fr Martin. Fr Martin sidesteps a bullet which grazes him. Another bullet strikes very close to Jack. Vincente spins and runs toward the front of the stage. Two more guards run off, leaving four.

Jack fires at the guard who shot at him, hitting twice; the guard staggers but continues aiming back. Marcus runs till he reaches a dead body, then stops and unloads the rest of his clip at the guards. Father Martin, decisively winning his contest of wills, peers into Kimmler's very soul; he sees fear and desperation, and knows that Kimmler will attempt to flee. The line of force between them is tangible, and he knows he has the measure of the man. A wild shot misses Jack. Fr Martin feels a bullet pass through him as though through white mist. Kimmer exhales; his hands make a ripping motion downward, which tears reality and exposes a dark alien landscape. He sags, visibly fatigued. Vincente, with a slight gesture, steps into the air and aims at Kimmler.

"End it now!" cries the priest. With a mighty effort, Father Martin deliberately breaks Kimmler's will.

Wolf and the remaining thugs stagger and disengage from the fight. Marcus drops his empty machine gun and grabs four grenades off of a dead body. Jack shoots Kimmler three times; Kimmler screams as his blood gushes out.

Marcus sprints around the reality tear toward Kimmler. Jack shoots Kimmler three more times. Kimmler fails utterly to try to overcome Father Martin's force of will.

Marcus pulls a grenade pin, leaps at Kimmler, and jams the live grenade into Kimmler's chest wound, yelling "Get out of the way!" Father Martin steps back several yards, and Valerie runs to put herself between the priest and the explosion.

Kimmler's body explodes into fragments. Father Martin feels Kimmler die. The remaining suits throw down their weapons and run, Marcus in pursuit; the guards appear dazed. Vincente can see Wolf huddled on the ground, inert.

Vincente hovers next to the reality tear and tells Fr Martin "I can't close it." Exerting his will and using the residuum of the link he had with Kimmler, Fr Martin shuts and seals the tear.

Marcus catches and ties up six of the suits.

Valerie calls out for those in the crowd who are injured to raise their hands, and directs paramedics and volunteer medical personnel toward them. She tells Golden to organize the evacuation of the stadium. She tends to Fr Martin's injuries, and Vincente casts a healing spell on Jack.

Marcus tells everyone to head for the helicopter. Jack runs and gets Pete. Once everyone is aboard, Marcus flies away from the stadium.
