There are twelve months to the calendar year. Each month has exactly thirty days, divided into five six-day weeks. The days are not named, but are numbered 1-30 and are designated thus, or by the position of the moon.

The names of the months and their correspondence to our Earth calendar:

  1. Blooming Time - May
  2. Long Days - June
  3. Adventure Days - July
  4. Sun Time - August
  5. Harvest Time - September
  6. Change Time - October
  7. Feast Time - November
  8. Short Days - December
  9. Frost Time - January
  10. Dark Days - February
  11. Wind Time - March
  12. Rain Time - April

The cycle of the moon is exactly 30 days long. Full Moon falls on the 15th of each month, and New Moon on the 30th.

Holidays/Holy Days

Most religions have an official Temple Day every twelve days (two weeks). Various deities and religions observe their own specific holidays.

Change Time 14 and 15 are called Days of the Spirits and are considered holy days by all religions. At this time the spirits of one's ancestors, enemies, and friends -- and the gods themselves -- are known to walk the earth. Evil influences increase greatly in power as well, causing many people to confine themselves to their homes or temples during this period. The three days following the Days of the Spirits are usually given over to festivals and merrymaking.
