Unknown Ages

The Time before the Golden Age seems to be an Unknown to all the World's races. Many of the Religions seem to touch on 'things' which occured in this time but if any history survived of these eras it is with a secretive few.

Golden Age

The main thing known about this time is the growth of the Empire of Venetia (a mainly human empire). Many historians (and religions) consider this time to be the Golden Age of the world. Everything about this time (including it's duration) has been widely discusses/disputed over the last four thousand years. The 'Best' guesses concerning it's duration are from two to three thousaand years.

Dark Age

A war between Venetia and Xanthypia is said to have shattered the world and the Golden Age. This war caused a devastating Dark Age which is thought to have lasted at least 2,000 years.

Very little information exists concerning the Golden Age or the Dark Age.

First Age (Previous Age)

• This age endured for 3,137 years.

Second Age (Current Age)

• 1 - Beginning of Current Age (2nd Age)

The beginning of the Current age found almost all of the previous Nations and Empires destroyed. Various disasters destroyed almost all of the established cities. Technology was thrown back to the early Bronze Age (TL 1). The advance Back to Previous levels (Late TL3) would not be that rapid.

A significant amount of Information is known and available about the Previous Age. The Elven know the most but are very protective of most details. The exact cause of the end of the Previous age is not generally known.
