When asked Jason will say that he was an Interstellar trader before he was recruited, but almost no one believes that. Jason loves to make money, and this desire to get richer leads him to be very liberal when it come to interpretations of local laws and customs. This has caused him to become very good at assessing shady situations and talking his way into and out of hot spots.

Jason also loves speed. If a vehicle moves on land, in the air or in space Jason can probably get it where it needs to be as quickly as you could wish. Up to this point he has not dealt with water vehicles because they seemed so slow, but recent information has Jason reconsidering that position.

Jason has very few close friends but in general believes that if someone wishes to do something stupid (by ignoring sound advice) and get killed, then they should be humored as long as it does not endanger him or anything he considers important.
