Active from 1970 to 1981.

This was a moderately successful team based in San Diego, California. In 1981 five of the eight team members were killed when they were forced to go up against two villain groups (Global Conglomerate and Beta Conglomerate) totaling around fifteen. They won but at the cost of the destruction of the team.
