Hawaii:Characters:Jocelyn Morgan

Jocelyn Morgan was a young human woman from an Earth much like ours. She lived in La Canada, a suburb of Los Angeles, with her mother and her younger brother, and had recently graduated from high school. An experienced equestrienne, she was jumping her horse over a low fence when it suddenly stumbled, fell, and rolled over her.

Jocelyn soon touched the lives of many IS agents. She dutifully went to the JMC for a medical checkup. She visited the Wizard’s Inn and Shadow’s End. She sang during jam sessions at the Second Chance. She helped T’larra carry some luggage, and went cruising with Deanna and bar-hopping with Hell Tanner.

Not long after her arrival, Jocelyn’s attention had been drawn to a familiar name on the Locator Board: James Morgan. Her father of that name had died in an automobile accident when Jocelyn was eight years old. It seemed like a very long shot, but accompanied by Michael Ironbear, who had befriended her, Jocelyn made her way to Standing Bow Ranch and ascertained that James Morgan was indeed her father. She was readily welcomed by Rii, Angela, and all the other members of Morgan’s household. Jocelyn celebrated her birthday at Standing Bow.

Jocelyn’s career with Infinite Solutions consisted of one mission. An evil psychic influence gave Jocelyn and Dr. Emery monstrous appearances, and they were both shot at long range by one of their teammates. Struck twice in the heart, Jocelyn died instantly. After the mission team returned, mages Jarret and Kathy Oakbranch led an attempt to restore Jocelyn to life. However, they were unable to contact her spirit and concluded wisely that it was best just to let things be.

Jocelyn is buried at Standing Bow Ranch in Colorado. She was 19 at the time of her final death.
