Hawaii:Sessions:19901208:Pre Mission Activities
Late Saturday evening (about 7:30 PM) they arrived back. After a day, Kathy got permission to take Colin to Ireland to try to get her mentor to see if he could bring Colin back. So at 10:15 am Monday morning November 26 Kathy was in the air en route to Ireland when she took a little side trip (see Track 3 Mission 5 detail). When she got back to the casket she opened it to ensure that the body was still there. It was... and Colin got up. (Whitetop, upon hearing of the death of Colin, had wished that his death had not happened, and since Whitetop had picked up an unknown Great Wish it had happened.)
Darr was released from the autodoc late Monday afternoon (11/26/90) to be immediately greeted by Kristi. She had heard of his injury. Darr was informed that Colin was dead. Darr talked to Tanisha and apologized to her about it. Darr swore to himself that he'd learn enough that he wouldn't commit the same mistake again. Therefore he decided to spend as much time as possible each day studying tactics as set up in the simulator by Colin. Kristi kept herself nearby in case Darr needed her. A couple of days later Tanisha, who had left to go to Colin's funeral, returned with the news that Colin was alive. Darr did not understand, but noted his location for later checks.
Scott left a letter for Darr and left on a tour before Darr came out of the autodoc. Scott formed a band to go on tour as the opening act for Alice Cooper. Milo and Samantha joined as part of the band.
[Text of Scott's note:]
To Anthony Darr:
I've gone on tour with Alice Cooper. Milo, Samantha, myself and a few others have formed a band, 'Night of the Living Dead Part VI'. There are tickets and backstage passes for all the concerts at the front desk.
Darr, you remind me a little of Falcon. You are cautious and plan things up to the very end, then allow your more impulsive side to come forth. Falcon died; don't let that happen to you, I'd like to work with you again.
Sincerely, Scott "Haunt" Dugan
P.S. Don't go shopping alone. And keep an eye on Tanisha for me.
After her arrival back in Hawaii, Enigma contacted Tanisha to pull a team together for a mission to Largan to correct the balance, protect the King, and free the Traveler. Tanisha accepted and over the next few days she pulled her team together. It would consist of Kristi, Whitetop, Lara Lee, Tormac, Gary Cartwright, and Two-Leaf. An experienced operative for Enigma but new to the team was Dr. Ill (Clinger) who was a Smooka (3'5",six-armed being). Darr declined the mission, saying he needed some training and was in the process of completing it. However, he did socialize with the group right up to the time they left. The team left at noon on Saturday, December 8, 1990.
Kristi had asked Darr to let Pard (a black anthro cat) know she was on a mission if he saw him. Darr did see him late Saturday and did pass along the information.
