What is Delta Base?

Though the buzz of this new facility is just reaching the ears of most IS personnel, the base has actually been under construction for much of the last year. Delta Base is a 13th story under ground base and functions almost as a small city. Most of the agents and employees for Delta Base are new recruits but the lead agents and some of the staff were pulled from the existing pool of employees. Delta base is located on a recently discovered Skerrie of worlds that all (at first glance) seem to distribute odd and varied physical, historical, or metaphysical properties. At this point the energies required to move equipment and personnel from worlds outside the skerrie to those inside make casual travel impossible. The only known crossworld conveyance is achieved through a new Miracle Technology known as the Nexus Hole Field Diverter, NHFD which is a device that seems to enhance and alter the naturally occurring Nexus Holes that exist on most realities. As far as the future plans for this base and whether or not it is or is not part of a set, people are asking but E. Nigma is not telling.
